The next generation Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPaTS2) framework will deliver the Government’s £27.4bn RIS 2 programme and is valued at £300m.

A Highways England spokesperson said: “This framework will provide us with the specialist services we need to help us deliver a £27.4bn investment in the strategic road network during road period 2 (2020-2025).
“It will help to ensure safer, smoother and more reliable journeys to the 4 million users that rely on our roads each day.”
Highways England will soon tender for a commercial and project management services framework to replace other parts of the original SPaTS framework.
