The Technology & Construction Solicitors Association (TecSA) launched its Low Value Dispute Service (LVD) last year.
The service simply limits the fees which the adjudicator can charge.
A referring party can just apply online to TeCSA for the nomination of an adjudicator provided that no other Adjudicator Nominating Body is specified in the contract.
So far the system has already generated more than 50 nominations.
TeCSA Chairman, Caroline Pope said: “We understand that value counts, particularly in the current Covid-19 affected environment.
“There is considerable evidence that the costs of adjudication have been a real disincentive for parties to use this process to resolve low value disputes.
“TECSA worked hard to find an innovative, pioneering solution, and is delighted the service is proving to be popular, with 51 nominations already in place.”
The TeCSA LVD service is suitable for straightforward claims of up to £100,000 with fees capped at between £2,000 and £5,000 depending on the value of the claim.
