The Hillside and Milton Avenue sites form part of the masterplan to sensitively redevelop within the heart of Stonebridge.
Higgins will design and build 73 mixed-tenure new homes and one retail unit with new public open space linking the two sites.
The Hillside site will consist of 51 apartments, across two blocks, up to seven storeys in height with a roof terrace on both blocks, while the Milton Avenue site will feature a terrace of twenty two, four bedroom, three storey townhouses.
The job includes a series of bridges over the existing canal feeder that runs through the sites.
Steve Leakey, managing director of Higgins said, “We are very pleased to be part of this exciting masterplan for Stonebridge and work with Brent Council to bring these brand new high quality homes to the area. We look forward to starting on site in the coming months.”
Cllr Muhammed Butt, Leader of Brent Council said, “We have an ambitious target to deliver 5,000 affordable homes including 1,000 council homes. Our goal is to provide affordable and high-quality homes across Brent.”
