Local MP Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown opened the new workspace and witnessed first-hand some of the additional investment made.
Hercules has invested £4m in new Suction Excavators with the aim of boosting the fleet to nine by the start of next year.
The company said: “These huge machines will enable clients to dig safely around existing underground services such as water, gas and broadband.
“This safer way of working will hopefully reduce the number of injuries and cable/pipeline strikes, which has negative impacts on work being completed on time.”
Sir Geoffrey also heard about Hercules’s plans to develop a 16 acre site in the Cotswolds which will act as an operations centre for the Suction Excavator Fleet.
Managing Director Brusk Korkmaz also detailed innovations including the Hercules Recruitment App, the Hercules Podcast and Health Screening Trailer.
