Ruebens Brothers-owned Taras Properties is bringing forward the £45m first phase office block in Pilgrim Place on the site of the former Bank of England building.
The 14-storey Bank House office project forms part of the wider East Pilgrim Street development, incorporating three city blocks of 400,000 sq ft, designed by Ryder Architecture with Arup is providing engineering input.
Project manager Chris Turnbull said: “Bowmer & Kirkland has been awarded the contract to build the office block, which is programmed to start on site in mid-October with a scheduled completion in Spring 2023.”
