City Hire’s brand promise of guaranteed delivery & collection will now reach areas such as Dartford, Guildford, Romford and Slough – and much further, including home counties and other areas of southern England.
The change to City Hire’s delivery area represents a permanent expansion of the tool and equipment hire service, with the company expecting to grow this offering even further in the near future.
The change comes in response to long-term demand for expanded delivery services from City Hire customers. New routing software and vehicle fleet additions of 7.5 ton lorries have been sourced to accommodate this demand.
For customers and traders in construction and major site projects within the service area, they now benefit from:
- City Hire’s assurance of equipment delivered on time and as promised
- Receiving one week of free hire, should City Hire fail to meet the promised requirements within the time limit.
This supports City Hire’s mission of reducing the frustrations of equipment hire for customers and businesses in the construction sector, especially in light of surrounding restrictions around Coronavirus.
One customer, who has used City Hire’s expanded service this year, said: “There’s been no drop in the level of City Hire service since CV19. Glad [the company is] servicing further afield now, as I lose control of kit when using other suppliers if my hire reports are not all in one place.”
Additionally, customers can access City Hire’s newest product offerings including 1-ton dumpers, semi-electric pallet trucks and conveyors, as well as acoustic tents, Hilti DD110 Diamond Core Drills, and DustControl DC2000 air scrubbers for use in their projects.
