The specialist contractor is banking on the new division growing to £30m turnover within five years offering customers an end-to-end service from CDM and planning, through to installation and aftercare.
Its integrated offer to clients will run from facilities management, special project installation, fire and security solutions as well as CDM and health and safety consultancy expertise.
As part of the corporate shake-up, Gareth Simm, managing director for HE Simm, has taken on a new role as CEO for the umbrella group headquartered in Liverpool. Last year it achieved revenue of over £100m.
Greg Simm and John Lennie become managing directors for the core M&E business, now known as Engineering Services, in the North and South respectively.
Barry Juggins, managing director of fire, security, mechanical and electrical services operation HESIS, now takes on a wider role as MD for the Integrated Services division.
He will aim to grow the division from the present combined businesses turnover of around £9m up to £30m.
Gareth Simm said: “As three separate businesses, HE Simm, HESIS and Aspen Thorn have, over the years, developed first-class solutions for customers in their respective areas of expertise.
“They will still provide solutions in their fields in their own right, but this move allows us to create much more bespoke and tailored solutions for customers – bringing our skill sets together in a much more joined up way – whenever there is an opportunity to do so.
“This will present significant benefits to our customers providing an end-to-end solution that often they ask us for. HE Simm has a proud history of continually innovating to meet customers’ needs and the integration of our companies into one group is the latest example of this.”
Together the HE Simm Group of companies will operate nationwide with offices in Warrington, Liverpool, London and Crawley.
