Fierra Real Estate and Opus North appointed the firm to undertake the renovation of the landmark Leeds City Centre office building at 12 King Street.
The project is being developed speculatively and supports growing signs of the commercial property market stirring back into life in UK cities.
Opus North said the building had been designed as a post-pandemic workplace with roof gardens and open terraces.
Once finished in Autumn 2021, the building will offer 54,500 sq ft of super prime office accommodation.
The building has been carefully designed by DLA Design to take into consideration the rapidly evolving office market and with tomorrow’s occupier in mind, boasting cutting-edge ‘smart’ building technology alongside market leading sustainability and well-being features credentials.
The transformation designed by DLA Design includes a new façade and two new floors boasting a communal sky lounge with extensive roof terraces.
The professional team includes M&E consultant Hydrock MRB, structural engineer Curtins and Gardiner & Theobald as PM and cost conulstant.
