Construction is set to start this spring transforming the redundant land into a 169 new homes development.

All the houses will be energy efficient and home buyers will also benefit from an onsite play area and an adjoining retail development with a supermarket and leisure facilities which will be submitted for planning approval this summer.

The development will take around four years to complete.
