Property investor Curlew Capital has been granted planning for its 282-room student accommodation development, close to the Westfield Shopping Centre and the Olympic Park.
The project, designed by Henley Halebrown Architects, will see the demolition of Poland House, an existing 100-bed student property acquired by Curlew in 2019.
In its place, the firm is targeting a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating for the building, which will make it one of only a handful of student developments to achieve this.
Bouygues is understood to be looking at the project, which is expected to complete for the start of the 2023/24 academic year.
