He joins after five years at Amey as business director for Highways, responsible for local government highways, streetlighting, traffic management and Ministry of Defence businesses.
Ogden also led the business development and growth strategy for the highways division.
Before that, he worked at McNicholas Construction for several years and had a brief spell at Carillion.
He said: “I am very excited to be joining Colas. The business has embarked on a transformation journey and I am delighted to have the opportunity to play a part in this significant investment for the benefit of our clients, stakeholders and the wider public.”
