The firm offered both sustainable and modular building solutions to the commercial, education, health and retail projects which were capable of a BREEAM Excellent rating.

The firm worked for McLaren Construction, Capita Symonds and had a framework agreement with Clugston.

Last month student accommodation specialist Unite was forced to close its pod business at a cost of £21m.

The closures are blow for the modern methods of construction movement, which has seen several business shutdown in the last two years.
