The six-year framework will support the delivery of renewal and enhancement programmes in Road Investment Strategy 2, Highways England’s strategy for investment in and management of the strategic road network to March 2027.
Under Lot 1, which covers Commercial Services, eight firms will deliver services including budget management and forecasting, commercial management, quantity surveying and project estimating.
They are Aecom, Arcadis, Arup, Faithful and Gould, Jacobs, Mace, Mott Macdonald and WSP.
For the second lot covering project management, risk management and planning and scheduling services, the consultants are the same except for Stantec replacing Arup in the line up.
Scott Motley, Director, AECOM, said: “Our work, led by Ed Day, will bring together our global and cross-sector experience and digital initiatives to support Highways England through RIS2 and into RIS3, with a focus on solutions and customer outcomes.”
Leigh Jones, Arcadis Highways Regional Sector Lead, said: “This is a significant opportunity for Arcadis to build on the success we have enjoyed during the past 10-years and position ourselves as a major provider of commercial and project management services to Highways England. This significant win can be attributed to exceptional account leadership and an unerring focus on service excellence.”
