Designed by architects Leach Rhodes Walker, the Salford building has been designed in two distinct parts, with a taller element rising to 15 storeys in height and stepping down to 10 storeys.
These two brick-clad elements for the Cheltenham Street scheme are separated at the lower levels by a three-storey void through the building creating a large courtyard.
Subject to achieving planning approval, X1 is aiming to start construction in the second half of 2022 on an 18-month programme.
