Work will start next month on the 17-storey project at the Chapel Street surface car park in Salford.
The four star hotel will comprise of 188-bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, coffee lounge and gym facilities.
Designed by Norr and Urban Innovations on board as delivery architects, the building is targeted to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating.
McAleer & Rushe is also nearing the completion of another Maldron hotel project in Manchester at Charles Street, delivering 278-bedrooms.
Peter Devlin, contracts director at McAleer & Rushe, said at peak operation, the project will have 200 workers onsite and provide local employment opportunities.
