The Enquirer understands penalties following the investigation into six companies have now been handed-out.
Officials at the CMA declined to comment beyond confirming that updates on cases would be published on their website.
The investigation opened in March 2019 into possible breaches of the Competition Act in relation to the supply of construction services.
Cartel busters at the CMA have remained tight-lipped about the case – refusing to even confirm which sector it was focused on.
But multiple industry sources have confirmed it involves the demolition industry.
The CMA website states that the next official update on the case is due this month.
