The Bracknell Forest Cambium Partnership, subject to a Section 106 agreement, will now start work this summer on the 169-home Market Street regeneration scheme.
Mixed tenure apartments will be delivered across three distinct buildings on a site that has sat undeveloped and behind hoarding for the last decade.
This partnership formed at the end of 2020 is continuing the council’s regeneration aspirations to revitalise town centre with 400 homes, alongside flexible commercial and community space.
Daniel King, managing director, West London and Thames Valley, Countryside, said: “Our Market Street regeneration will bring high-quality, tenure blind, new homes to the centre of Bracknell, rejuvenating a derelict location into a vibrant, mixed-use development that supports the 18-hour economy of the town centre.”
