Main construction works will start this week on the design and build deal which is expected to last 50 weeks.

The new warehouses will stretch across 200,000 sq ft on the 16.5 acre site on North Road.

Construction works will also include associated car parking, fenced and gated service yards, anew signalled junction, development estate access road, associated landscaping including an external landscaped exercise area and upgrading of the existing public right of way footpath to a 3m wide cycle way.

McLaren’s pre-construction team has worked with the client over the last few months carrying out extensive support and design solutions in relation to the
National Grid & UKPN pylons which border the site.
