Advantage South West, which is a central buying body for 16 housing associations across the region, is setting up a dynamic purchasing systems deal to delivery energy efficiency and decarbonisation retrofit works for 10 years.

The panel of services and supply firms will be able to offer a host of expertise from whole house retrofits to specialist retrofit elements.

These will include wall, loft, floor and roof insulation and roof replacement. Firms are also wanted that can carry out M&E-based improvements like installing photovoltaics, battery storage, air source and ground heat pumps through to water heating, and flue gas heat recovery system, as well as Smart hub control technologies.

The panel of firms on the DPS will also include retrofit assessors, designers and co-ordinators and surveyors.

Firms can express an interest in bidding on the website. The closing date for submissions is 26 September 2022.
