The redevelopment plan for Deyes High School in Maghull will see most existing buildings replaced with the goal of creating new facilities that are “net zero carbon” in operation.
Apart from the 300-student sixth form, all existing buildings on the 13-acre site would be demolished to make way for a new 110,000 sq ft facility.
Under the phasing plan, new two and three-storey blocks will be built on the existing playing fields with staff and pupils transferring over before existing buildings are demolished to make way for new playing fields.
The project team includes M&E engineer TACE, Ridge as civil and structural engineer, and fire expert Orion.
