Developer WD Westworks, a subsidiary of Warmflame Developments, has submitted outline plans for three big sheds on the brownfield site.
The largest is expected to be just over 1m sq ft in size rising to 32m, with the other two around 540,000 sq ft and 300,000 sq ft in size and 25m tall.
Designed by Newark-based UMC Architect, the scheme is targeting BREEAM Excellent rating, using PV roof panels and a battery energy storage system.
Subject to planning, largescale demolition works are due to get underway in spring/summer of next year.
Enabling works are expected to take around 12 months on the near 100-acre site requiring demolition of around 1.6m sq ft of existing buildings and forming the plateau on the site for construction to start.
