The firm has gone out to consultation with plans for a six-storey building of around 540 student rooms at a site on the western edge of Coventry near the University of Warwick.
It aims to demolish the current 50,000 sq ft office building known as Progress House on the Westwood Heath Business Park site.
Building on its record of success in delivering large-scale PBSA projects, including Gulson Road in Coventry in 2021, Gilltown aims to start work, subject to planning, in Autumn next year.
James Gillespie, project manager for Gilltown, said: “We are delighted to working on these transformational plans to repurpose and revitalise this site in Coventry.
“The site no longer suits the current occupier’s business requirements, providing an ideal opportunity for PBSA redevelopment, as the building fronts Westwood Way and is a short walk from the western edge the University of Warwick campus.”
Turley is acting as planning consultant for the scheme which will go in for planning within the next few weeks.
