NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is exploring procurement options for renewing its healthcare framework, which will cover construction works costing more than £7m.
Work will be divided between two lots. The first will cover major projects of over £20m, while lot 2 will be for projects between £7-£20m and may be divided regionally.
Firms will be given an insight to the procurement plan at meeting two buyer events

The framework will be based on the principles of collaborative working, integrated supply chains and continual improvement to deliver best value for money and develop best practice, and sustainability.
Since the current framework was introduced, 28 projects have been procured by NHS organisations. It was awarded back in April 2018 to cover all work contracts exceeding £4m and will expire in April 2024.
Firms on the existing framework include BAM, Dawnus, Kier, Tilbury Douglas and Willmott Dixon.
