Construction is now due to start next year on developer Sciontec’s eight-storey office, known as Hemisphere.

The project will be built at the Paddington Village regeneration site in the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool innovation district, next to the iconic Spine building.

Designed by AHR Architects, the 120,000 sq ft building project is expected to complete in 2025.

Developer Sciontec is jointly owned by Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council, and Bruntwood SciTech.

Colin Sinclair, CEO at Sciontec, said: “We are promising to make Hemisphere the most cycling commuter-friendly workspace in the city centre, by not only including 166 secure cycle spaces but all e-bike charging facilities, drying facilities, changing rooms and showers for cyclists.
