Demolition of six buildings currently on the Oriel Kings Cross site has just got underway and construction of the 10-storey, 47,000 sq m centre will start later in 2023.

Also in the rail sector, Morgan Sindall secured the Covid-delayed project to build a major new train maintenance depot for the Docklands Light Railway in East London with an £88m bid.
Also in London, Mace secured the £150m 1 Liverpool Street over-station office scheme for Aviva and Sir Robert McAlpine took the £120m retrofit of the iconic Barkers of Kensington department store.
