The Enquirer understands the initiative – which has the codename Project Sarah – is aiming to attract billions of overseas investment into UK projects.
The programme is a collaboration between international bespoke consultancy group Consensio and investment firms Athla Capital Management and InvestUK working alongside specialist law firm Maurice Turnor Gardner and leading construction experts including Avison Young.
The Project Sarah team is targeting high net worth individuals across the globe alongside investment groups.
Contractors will also be invited to part fund projects they are building.
One source close to the initiative said: “The UK property and construction market has suffered significant blows recently which have hit the confidence of overseas investors.
“Project Sarah is designed to make it easier for foreign investors to fund UK schemes and attract finance into a host of potential projects.”
