The latest agreement is expected to be bigger that the previous deal with an estimated value of £700m.
Around 25 firms on the existing deal will be fighting to renew their places on the framework whose scope covers design, site preparation, site remediation, associated civil engineering and building works.
The new framework deal has been broken into four lots
– Lot 1 – Schemes up to a maximum of 10 units
– Lot 2 – Schemes of between 8 – 45 units
– Lot 3 – Schemes of between 30 – 100 units
– Lot 4 – Schemes of 70 units or over
The contractors will be expected to share ENP’s commitment to regeneration, creating training, work placement, educational activity, direct and shared apprenticeship, and new employment opportunities.
Over the term of the framework, ENP will expect contractors to develop their own ESG strategies.
Prequalification questionnaires need to be returned by 24 July with the successful firms selected to start the new framework this September.
