Marks will report to group chief executive Lee Cummins who himself only took up the top role at the facade specialist in February after three years as group MD at Kier and before that nearly 16 years at Laing O’Rourke
Marks brings over over 34 years experience in construction.
Before his brief nine-month stint as chief executive of nmcn where he took on the challenge of trying to turn around the debt stricken business, he worked as group commercial director at M&E specialist NG Bailey for eight years and as well as commercial director of construction at Galliford Try for a short period.
Before that he held senior roles over nine years at Laing O’Rourke, including commercial director of Crown House and working as commercial lead on the London Olympics for the contractor
Commenting on his move to Permasteelisa, Marks said: “Established in 1973, the business is one of the world’s longest established global facade contractors. I look forward to helping shape the future of the business.”
