The firm said the rebrand to Morrisroe Demolition would help to highlight its demolition to superstructure direct delivery capabilities within a united group.
Cantillon hit the headlines most recently as one of ten demolition contractors together fined £60m for bid rigging.
The demolition firm, established over 50 years ago by Michael Cantillon, was fined £1.9m for its involvement in cover pricing arrangements which took place before Morrisroe bought Cantillon in 2020.
In the renaming, the original core concrete frame contractor A J Morrisroe is now called just Morrisroe.
Brian Morrisroe, CEO and founder of Morrisroe Group, said: “We are one of a handful of specialist trade contractors able to ‘self-deliver’ a broader scope of specialist packages to the London and Birmingham markets with a single point of contact.
“The idea of our integrated specialist delivery model encompassing demolition through to the completion of the structure has gained considerable traction in our market, so it made sense that our intention to work seamlessly together ‘as one’ should be reflected in our branding.”
