Both new directors bring experience from a variety of senior leadership roles at firms like Galliford Try and Amey and Enterprise.
Simon Jones, United Living Infrastructure Services’ incoming operations director, has held multiple leadership roles within large, multidisciplinary infrastructure and capital delivery organisations, most recently with Seymour Civil Engineering and before that Galliford Try and Amey.
He has extensive experience across key utility sectors, with particular expertise developing major project opportunities. Jones brings strong expertise in leading large teams on both water and energy frameworks and delivering capital schemes for Yorkshire Water as part of their AMP7 Civils framework.
He is joined by Campbell Crawford, who joins as new commercial director.
Over 15 years in the utilities industry he has operated in a variety of senior leadership roles across major contracting organisations such as Enterprise, Amey, and Network Plus.
John Farrell, who joined from SSE Contracting nine months ago to head up the business as MD, said: “Both Campbell and Simon have a wealth of experience in leadership roles in the utility and infrastructure sector and will complement our existing management team’s expertise very well.
“As we move closer to 2025, we are focused on supporting the energy transition and the water industry’s ambitions for AMP8 and beyond.
“The AMP8 delivery programme is set to be bigger than any previous AMP period and is anticipated to tackle unique challenges, through commitments to climate change, customer service, society, and the environment.”
