To take fill the vacancy, Phil Shaw has been promoted to take on Gittins’ former role as managing director of the Building North region.

Shaw brings more than 25 years of experience within Tilbury Douglas, most recently as regional director – North West for nearly seven years, where he played an integral part in the growth of the region.

To enable this progression, Tilbury Douglas has also appointed Martin Horne as regional director – North West.

He joins the business having held senior construction roles for several decades, most recently at BAM for more than eight years, latterly as construction director.
