Staff at Axiom Group start looking for new jobs

Staff at Bedfordshire based contract flooring specialist Axiom Group are looking for new jobs.

Calls to the Ampthill headquarters of the contractor were going to answerphone as workers took to LinkedIn looking for new roles.

One worker said: “Due to sudden collapse of the Axiom Group Ltd I am in a position of now looking for a contracts manager role.”

Axiom has been in business since 1979 and has been led by Group Managing Director Nick Edwards since a management buyout in 2008.

Latest accounts filed at Companies House show Axiom had a turnover of £17.8m for the year to November 30 2022 generating a pre-tax profit of £781,177 while employing 44 staff.
