The site will deliver 612 homes alongside a 100 bed hotel and 20,000 sq ft of commercial space in partnership with Reading Borough Council.
The Minster Quarter win comes just weeks after McLaren Living revealed it will be redeveloping the adjacent Broad Street Mall to create a new mixed-use neighbourhood in Reading town centre.
Work at Minster Quarter will transform the town’s former Civic Centre site into a new neighbourhood while the Broad Street Mall development will contain 600 build-to-rent flats and 15,000 sq ft of commercial, retail and leisure space.
