Studio Egret West will lead the multi-disciplinary team to redevelop a 30 hectares swathe of post-industrial land that sits between the city centre and the Etihad Stadium to the East of central Manchester.
The rest of team includes Deloitte, Dutch urban designers MVRDV NEXT, Turley, AKT II, Hilson Moran, Deetu and Hatch, which bring a blend of local, national and international experience to the programme.
Manchester City Council is working with Homes England and GMCA to help guide the long-term investment plan for this regeneration area.
The draft plan will be prepared in the coming months before consultation later this year.
