Guinness Partnership starts race for £1bn housing deal

The Guinness Partnership has opened bidding for a £1bn housing upgrade and repairs framework covering homes across the country.

The 15-year framework deal has been split into five regional lots to deliver an extensive planned programme of works.

Appointed contractors in each of the regions will be required to carry out planned investment works covering kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing, electrical works, external and internal decorations, and window replacements.

The framework will also be used for decarbonisation programmes and building fire safety works.

Regional lots


North West and Greater Manchester: covering around 20,000 properties. (value £320m)

Yorkshire, Humberside, and East Midlands: covering 11,000 properties (value £155m)

Home Counties: covering 9,000 properties  (£110m)

South East & Coast and Greater London: covering 19,000 properties (value £260m)

South West: covering 11,000 properties (value £170m)
