Refurb contractor Troy Central goes into administration

Administrators are now in charge at Suffolk based refurbishment contractor Troy Central Ltd.

The firm specialised in the hotel, leisure and commercial sectors working on jobs up to £3m in value.

Joint administrators from Grant Thornton took charge of the business last week.

Latest accounts for Troy for the year to August 31 2023 show a turnover of £37.8m generating a pre-tax profit of £910,000 while the company employed 24 staff.

A statement on the firm’s website said: “The affairs, business and property of Troy Central Limited (“the Company”) is being managed by Daniel Smith and Oliver Haunch, appointed as Joint Administrators on 5 November 2024.

“The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Company and without personal liability. The Joint Administrators are authorised by the Insolvency Practitioners Association to act as insolvency practitioners.
