The firm has taken over North Lanarkshire property maintenance firm Rodgers & Johnston, which specialises in local authority and housing association work.
Based in Holytown, R&J carries out responsive and planned repairs, electrical works and void property refurbishments across Scotland.
Headed by managing director, Greg Johnston, R&J multi-trade services expertise will complement Cardo’s existing strengths in M&E, renewables and retrofit solutions.
Last month, the private equity-backed Welsh maintenance group gained a foothold in Scotland buying energy services contractor HeatCare Oil and Gas.
Liam Bevan, Cardo CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Greg and the whole R&J team to Cardo Group.
“The business has been operating since 1968 and this long and positive track record in delivering essential maintenance services to social housing providers and public sector clients aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance the quality and efficiency of social housing homes and public buildings across the UK.”
R&J will continue to operate under its current management team, ensuring continuity for clients and staff while benefiting from the additional resources and expertise of Cardo Group.
