Father-of-five Craig Gray was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital last Thursday following the fall at Halsall Toys in Fleetwood, but died of his injuries shortly afterwards.
The accident is being investigated by the police and Health and Safety Executive.
The victim’s brother Kevin Gray told the Blackpool Gazette: “Craig was a very loving family man who worshipped his children.
“He will be very deeply missed by all the family. We would like to thank all the emergency services who attended as well as all the hospital staff who helped Craig.”
Craig Gray was a contractor working at the site.
A spokesman for Halsall Toys said: “We are continuing to fully co-operate with the authorities to help them with their investigation into the incident at our warehouse yesterday.
The investigation is being led by Lancashire Police, and detective inspector Colin Forsyth said: “This is a tragic incident resulting in a man losing his life.
“The investigation is still at its early stages and we are working closely with the Health and Safety Executive to establish the full circumstances.”
A spokesman for the HSE added: “We were contacted about an incident where a man doing some work on a factory in Fleetwood has fallen through a skylight at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
“The police and the Health and Safety Executive are running a joint investigation into the incident which is being led by Lancashire Police at this time.”
