Bids called for £22m new-look Peabody housing scheme

Social housing landlord Peabody is pressing ahead with plans to build 168 homes at a former hospital site in Plaistow, East London.

The project has been designed by PCKO architects to mark the 150-anniversary of the body with a new-look estate in Newham showcasing the latest advancements in mainstream sustainable building technology.

Building work is due to start in Spring next year, once planning consent is gained.
