Rok has won a place on the lists of four more registered social landlords this week to build new affordable homes.
The new build framework agreements with Hanover Housing, Housing 21, Chester & District Housing Trust and Arena Housing follow similar wins earlier this year.
Rok’s director of new build housing, Charlie Scherer, confirmed the company is on course to deliver more than 1,500 new affordable properties by the end of the year while also maintaining and repairing a further 40,000.
He said: “Among the factors that are helping us gain our place on more and more framework agreements are the numbers of our own directly employed people we are able to involve in these projects and the jobs this creates for local communities.
“This way of working allows us to give undertakings on quality of build and consistency of service that are appreciated by our customers.
“We are also assisting in unlocking sites with innovative development solutions creating even more training and apprenticeship opportunities.”
