Contractors are being invited to bid for the Environment and Sustainability Institute and two other smaller projects being planned jointly by Exeter and Falmouth Universities.
The projects will be built at the Tremough Campus in Penryn and could be let as a single job or broken into individual lots depending on the outcome of various funding agreements.
The 30,000 sq ft Environment and Sustainability Institute valued at £16m is the biggest job up for grabs.
Construction scheduled to start next February with the contractor expected to build to the highest BREEAM level of “outstanding”.
The institute will be home to 100 top quality academic staff who will lead world-class research into the causes of environmental change and how to manage its effects.
The other two projects are a £4m Academy for Innovation and Research and an £8m project to expand existing student facilities at the campus.
PQQs need to be completed by 2 September and further information is available from the Tremough Campus.
