The firm’s biggest job was with Morgan Sindall to deliver the M&E package on Manchester Airport’s air traffic control tower, where its work was close to completion.
Joint Administrators P&A Partnership are reviewing the contractor’s work in progress, including the ongoing contract at Manchester Airport.
Fifteen of the contractor’s 28 staff were laid off last week.
P&A administrator Chris White said: “The company’s projected order book into the New Year was drastically reduced and the lack of future work has resulted in the company entering into administration.”
White said that it was too early to say what might happen to the business.
Airport chiefs said that the tower is still set to open this spring. A spokesman said: “The company was a sub-contractor of the main contractor Morgan Sindall. There is no change to the scheduled operational opening, which is planned for later this year.”
