Only one Enterprise director, former utility boss Dan Holland, has made it onto the new-look board which is dominated by Amey executives.
Former Enterprise CEO Ian Fraser has also left the business.
Parent company Ferrovial has put Andres Camacho on the Amey board to steer the integration of the two contracting business.
The deal boosts Amey’s turnover to £2.3bn and the company now employs 21,000 people.

Amey said: “We will now begin a dedicated process of integrating Enterprise into Amey, while remaining focused on delivering a smooth transition for customers; ensuring service continuity and maintaining operational excellence throughout.
“The acquisition will allow Amey to respond to the demands of the industry, offering long-term value to customers through enhanced capabilities, a broader provision of services and implementation of best practice.”
Amey is expecting to make “cost and revenue synergies” estimated at around £40m.
