The council is looking for a partner to deliver energy efficiency improvements to its properties and those owned by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
An OJEU notice for the contract states: “The project will procure a Green Deal Partner for the Council that will deliver structural improvements (where appropriate) and external solid wall insulation improvements to in the region of 3,250 Council properties, alongside improvements to private sector properties either fully funded or through the use of a loan.
“The procured partner must be able to offer Green Deal finance/loans, provide ECO funding for projects and deliver works either as prime contractor or through a subcontractor.”
The five-year deal is estimated to be worth between £20m and £60m.
