Martin has been acting as head of the project management & construction divison since Michael Dyke suddenly left in May.

He has been with the firm for 15 years and first joined as a Bovis graduate trainee. He has worked around the Lend Lease business and worked in Sydney for five years on its global leadership team.

During that time  he worked as global head of risk.

A source told the Enquirer: “He is a Lend Lease heavyweight and is seen as having the credentials and charisma to give Lend Lease more bite in the marketplace.”

“This should bring to an end the management to-ing and fro-ing at the UK operations.”
