It secured the contract to demolish the existing Moy’s End stand to build a new 2,500 all-seater capacity end with a £7.2m bid.
The project will also include building a specialist education centre for 14 to 19-year-olds linked to the new stand.
The developments are part of Peterborough City Council’s aim to create a “community stadium”.
The building has been designed to reach a BREEAM excellent standard and will encompass a sustainable technologies like rainwater harvesting and photo-voltaic panels.
The proposals also include a Renewable Energy Centre next to the stadium, which would provide electricity to both the football ground, in London Road, and nearby homes.
