The manufacturer, which employs 500 staff locally and exports to more than 60 countries worldwide from the plant, is expanding its team to meet rising demand.

Terex will also invest significantly in its production facilities, as part of continued efforts to progress technologies and develop new machinery manufacturing processes.

“With a number of new product lines and strong economic recovery, we’ve seen sales rise dramatically over the past 12 months.

“As such, we made the decision to invest in both our site and team, which will not only help to increase production capacity in line with rising global demand, but also ensure machinery production remains firmly in the UK.

“Over the next few years, we plan to launch a number of new and improved products to deliver customer-driven solutions to the global market.”
