Dubbed the UK Southern Regional Framework Agreement it consolidates a massive work pipeline of £2.4bn to 3.9bn over four years.
The new deal will supersede the Construction Framework South West, the iESE South East and London Construction Framework for Major Projects, which have scores of firms on their books.
It is being jointly procured by Devon County Council, Hampshire County Council and Haringey Council in three lots under the new framework umbrella.
A Southern Construction Framework Supplier Briefing day will be held on 23 April for interested main contractors, ahead of a formal invitation to prequalify in May.
