Cladding work on Alumet’s biggest win worth £8.2m for Berkeley Homes/St James is due to start this summer at the Riverlight complex in Vauxhall, south London.
Alumet is also set to start in August on a £4.3m package working for C J O’Shea and Galliard Homes on the Baltimore Wharf site in London’s Docklands.
The wins come on the back of Alumet picking-up work after rival firms ran into trouble.
Alumet is working on a £6m deal for Berkeley at 375 Kensington High Street after Red Architectural went into administration.
And Alumet is also on site for Berkeley Homes at Chambers Wharf in south London where it has replaced Astec who went into administration earlier this month.
Laurence McBeth, Sales & Commercial Director at the Alumet Group said: “This is a market sector we have been targeting hard for 12 months or more and it is good to see such positive result.
“Alumet are keen to further expand our relationships with residential developers such as the Berkeley Group and Galliard over the coming years.”
