The Esh Group is launching a major recruitment drive across all divisions of its business following a string of contract wins in the north of England.

The contractor is looking for new recruits at all levels from trainees and operatives to construction directors.

Esh will be holding three open days in the coming weeks to outline opportunities at the group.

John Davies, Managing Director of Esh Construction, said: “We’ve got tremendous work pipelines across all divisions and regions of the business – in particular in our civil engineering, commercial build and house building operations in the North East, Cumbria and Yorkshire.

“We’re offering excellent job opportunities at almost every level of the business.

This is a great chance for anyone who is already in construction and wants a change – or is in another sector and wants to get into construction.

“We’re looking for experienced people who will ‘hit the ground running’ and others who need to learn but have the right attitude to ‘buckle down’ and take advantage of all the training and opportunity that Esh Group will offer – and expect them – to take up.”

The Esh Group “Getting to Know Us” meetings are taking place between 4pm and 9pm on :
26th June, Thursday – Middlesbrough Football Club, Teesside
2nd July, Wednesday – Newcastle United Football Club, Tyneside
8th July, Tuesday – De Vere Village, Castleford, Yorkshire

Michael Henderson, Director of Esh Construction, said: “We’re holding three “Esh Group : Getting to Know Us” events so people can have a good look at us – what we do and how we do it.  They can come along and ‘prod’ us, ‘poke’ us and ask as many questions as they’d like – before they decide to apply!

“We believe that getting to know one another is good for everyone.

“It means when people take jobs with us they’ve got a good feel for how we do things; Esh Group appeals to them, they identify with our values and they’ve decided they want to grow themselves and their career with us.”

Representatives of all the business divisions in Esh Group will be on hand to meet people and answer questions about their work and the job opportunities available.
